About Golden Bridges

Secure infrastructure — yours, forever. We help small businesses find and fix the single points of failure that put everything at risk, then hand you the plan so you never depend on us to keep it working.

Why we exist

In most small businesses, the passwords, accounts, and know-how live in one person’s head. That works fine — until a lost laptop, a locked account, or a bad day stops everything. We find that risk before it finds you, and leave you with a written plan you own, not a service you have to keep paying for.

How we work

  • Plain language. No jargon, no acronyms without an explanation.
  • You own everything. The inventory and the plan are yours — no subscription, no lock-in.
  • Fixed scope, one price. No surprise invoices. Follow-on work is always a written, separate quote.
  • Nothing changes without your say-so. We find and document — we don’t touch a thing without asking first.
  • No rushing, ever. There’s no such thing as a silly question.

Our promise on accessibility

This website is built to meet recognized accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA), and we keep improving it. You can change the text size and contrast at the top of every page, and have any page read aloud. See our accessibility page.

We also offer patient, plain-language tech help for older adults and their families — see tech help for older adults.

Who you'll be working with

Ross Goeringer

Founder, Golden Bridges

I'm Ross. I spent five years in IT support — an enterprise service desk, contract deployments around Denver, and a stretch of independent consulting — and the same problem turned up everywhere I went: the passwords, the accounts, and the know-how lived in one person's head, and nobody had ever written any of it down.

The first business I audited was a family-owned one. Every account traced back to a single login, the passwords sat in a plain document anyone could open, the records were spread across three places, and someone had already gotten in once. We closed the access risk first, then wrote the plan for everything else. That's the work Golden Bridges does now.

I have a B.S. in Energy, Business, and Finance and a CCNA, but the part of my background that matters most here is the service desk. That job is a long education in explaining a technical thing to someone who has no reason to care how it works — only whether it works. No jargon, no rushing, and no such thing as a silly question.

I live in Lakewood, Colorado and work across the Denver metro, plus remotely anywhere. If you want to know whether this is a fit, a short call is usually enough to tell.
